Today I will have the pleasure of working with the lovely Rebecca Shepherd and Carissa Templeton on Diana and Scott’s Brooklyn wedding. I’m also excited to get to work with Bethany Pickard and Naturally Delicious, Kerry Crawford and Scratch Weddings. Obviously this is going to be a pretty amazing day!!!

Is sweet and charming not for you? Hate the idea of being chased out of your own reception when you are looking to party into the wee hours of the night? Is your best friend’s band planning to play? Then The Paper Box is the wedding venue for you. Open in 2012 and already one of East Williamsburg’s hottest music venues, The Paper Box is now accommodating weddings for couples looking to break away from a traditional wedding venue.
Boasting a main space of 2,100 square feet, it comfortably holds 50 – 100 seated guests or up to 250 standing. It features a 12’ x 20’ stage, for a DJ or live band set up. The gorgeous onyx bar serves top shelf liquor, wine and beer. While its small kitchen can be utilized for prepping appetizers, it also includes a space for professional catering set up. Its professional lighting system, which includes a projection feature, transforms the space to suit any couple’s needs.
A cozy lounge area with couches can double as a bridal suite and three separate studio rooms can provide private spaces for preparation, dressing rooms, or storage.
The most unique feature of The Paper Box is the 1,000 square foot open-air backyard whose walls feature a rotating variety of local street artists – a great backdrop for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and professional photography. Beautiful wood slats frame the sky above the completely enclosed private area. The venue’s seating is flexible and outdoor space can easily accommodate a tent.
With its state of the art sound system and relaxed, low-key atmosphere, The Paper Box is an awesome space for informal, fun, rock-and-roll couples.

Anni, Rebecca, Carissa, Ruth and I can’t stop buzzing about how wonderful it was to work together on Jackie and Michael’s wedding this past weekend! We had a fabulous time collaborating on details as their wedding day approached and an even better time when the day arrived, working together and watching everything unfold so seamlessly. The two are such a lovely couple and we wish them a marriage filled with so much love and happiness! I hope you enjoy this sneak peek at their big day!
