Rips, Wrinkles, Traffic and Tardiness: Advice from a Wedding Planner
As I prepare for a busy wedding month, and help three amazing couples prepare for their wedding days, I am reminded how some struggle with accurately structuring, planning and coordinating their wedding day and all the logistics.
Please remember, time on your wedding day has a tendency to evaporate. I always pad the preparation time on a wedding day by at least an hour. Plan for the unexpected and have the extra time to handle anything that may come up. Things do. Best case scenario, you arrive at the venue early, and you have time to take a few extra pictures, hydrate yourself and enjoy a little quality time with your mom, dad or best friend before a long evening of conversations, cocktails and dancing.
