We are excited to announce an exciting and free public workout event hosted by our lovely friends at The White Gown.
“Fit to be Bride” is a Molly Winter Fitness Bootcamp Event where ladies can get fit together. This program will feature a one-hour session that trains brides and bridesmaids on the best way to tone the body for dress styles popular right now. Guests can expect to get an amazing workout for a variety of dress styles – mermaid, halter, strapless, backless, etc.
“Brides always tell us how important it is to them to look their best in their dream gown on their big day. While we always encourage our brides to be themselves, we also want to help them have the look they desire. And it can be tough to figure out how to tone for some of these gown shapes we don’t wear every day,” said Erica Chasco, Style Director at The White Gown, about “Fit To Be Bride” Bootcamp.
“I design deadline-driven Wedding Training programs for discerning city brides who want to walk down the aisle with the best body of their lives. My primary objective is getting them in top-notch shape by the time they say ‘I Do,’” said Molly Winter Stewart of the experience to be expected at the “Fit To Be Bride” Bootcamp.
Date: May 18
Where: Pier 46, Manhattan
To sign up, brides and bridesmaids can email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Who knows, you might even see some of the Brooklyn Betrothed ladies there!xo, Brooklyn Betrothed
Wedding Crashers has come and gone and did not disappoint. With a record 500 attendees, our friends and colleagues went all out. It’s seriously one of the most fun days of the year for couples and wedding pros alike. The professional party was hosted by Brooklyn Based and The Green Building. Thanks to all who fed us delicious food and the abundance of eye candy.
As we recapped, it was unanimous that the bite of lobster roll courtesy of Red Hook Lobster Pound was one of our favorite savory bites of the day. It was great to see so many of our old friends and I was pleasantly surprised to see many fun and friendly new faces.
Mindy was handing out the world’s best (in my opinion) salted caramels, Anni debuted her new green do, Michelle had the adorable mini cake pops on hand, Kristina’s table showcased the photo guest book that I love. I celebrated my company’s expansion to New England by giving out gummy lobsters. Ruth was there in spirit through her lovely illustrations adorning many of our tables.
Thanks to Josh Strauss Weddings for the fun photo booth.
Thanks to all the couples who came out and shared their stories and wedding plans.
Thanks to Nicole and Brooke for making it the best Wedding Crashers ever.xo,
It’s finally here, Wedding Crashers 2013! This is, by far, our favorite wedding event of the year. Do not miss out on meeting the ladies of Brooklyn Betrothed as well as many other fabulous Brooklyn-based vendors. We can’t wait to meet you at the Green Building and party with you at The Bell House afterwards, so spread the word!
Tickets available online here!
Check out our recap from last year’s event!xo, Brooklyn Betrothed
It’s so exciting to share some of the beautiful details of our Lemons and Lace party at The Green Building! As Tammy mentioned in our previous post, we are incredibly grateful to all participating vendors who contributed to making the night such a huge success!
As you scroll through the following images captured by myself and fellow photographer Michelle Lange, you will easily recognize the one-of-a-kind floral design of our very own Rebecca Shepherd and the delicate paper details created by Ruth Irving. Their collaboration on the event’s visuals set a sophisticated, summery tone for the evening, complimenting the individuality of The Green Building, both inside and out.
Stay tuned for more images of our lovely guests enjoying the event and individual posts for our participating vendors!xo, kristina
We are all so very grateful for the response, attendance and feedback our one-year anniversary celebration generated. The support we have received is phenomenal and made for one very successful evening. Big sincere thanks to everyone involved!
On July 16th guests were welcomed to The Green Building in Carroll Gardens and served strong, summer cocktails compliments of By Brooklyn and The Green Building hosted a bar serving wines provided by Smith and Vine. Whisk was on had to keep people hydrated with their popular flavored water station.
Upon arrival guests were welcome to the harp music and vocals of Katie Brennan. Later in the evening she handed the musical reins over to the one and only DJ Ben Carlin, who kept us entertained for hours. Blackbird Theatrical Services added to the atmosphere with uplighting.
Carissa Templeton was kind enough to introduce our crew to the crowd and we are grateful to Kristina Hill for her pictures – and those of her colleague Michelle Lange who was on hand to capture the night, allowing Kristina to enjoy the celebration. Sam Zuniss was cheering us on enthusiastically from the sidelines.
Guests could relax on the fabulous furniture provided by the ladies at Vintage Patina Rentals. The couches and chairs were positioned under Rebecca Shepherd’s magnificent chuppa. While sipping summertime, guests could read about all the wonderful wedding professionals who enthusiastically participated in our event in the sweet little programs designed by Brooklyn Betrothed’s visual artist, Ruth Irving of Papertopia.
Anni Bruno did an amazing job assembling, styling and staffing a beauty bar, in the sexy speak easy lounge. Guests could have eyelash extensions, make-up touch ups, hair styling and chair massages. What a treat! Anni will elaborate on the pros who were primping.
While our friends, colleagues and clients celebrated our one -year, they enjoyed the food of Dish Food and Events, sweet treats from Lu Lu’s Confections and the really delicious and beautiful cake pops from Haute So Sweet. Those who rallied ‘til the end got a grilled cheese sandwich, from The Food Freak food truck parked out front.
Broadway Party Rental was remarkable, they really made it all possible but providing beautiful, quality and versatile tables, linens, flatware, glassware and other misc. services items.
Thanks again to all who participating, contributed, attended and shared their good wishes with us!xo, Tammy
